Society of the Holy Trinity
The Society of the Holy Trinity gathers urban communities who want the gospel practiced in ordinary city life. Wellspring Peckham shares that vocation from St Luke's on Chandler Way.
Prologue pages on this site set out the Society's language of wholehearted following. Here we simply say: prayer in the parish, hospitality in the house, and service on the estate belong together.
Associates who live at a distance are invited to visit when they can. Guest rooms and short stays are part of that welcome, and we keep those spaces clean so a visit feels like rest rather than an afterthought.
The Wellspring Community Peckham is a diverse yet local spiritual community of people inspired to follow the example and way of Jesus in what is called a New Monastic Community, drawing on contemplative prayer practices and local loving action.
We seek to show that those who may not relate to traditional ideas of church or Christianity can find a home with us.
We recognise the inspiration of many throughout the centuries: saints, mystics, monastics and artists, seeking to offer hospitality and conversation to all.
We seek to live in a way that is both relevant to modern culture and to God, by finding God in the midst of everyday life. We welcome all to share their lives and learning with us as we continue to journey on....
The Wellspring Community is part of the Anglican Parish Church of St Lukes Camberwell in Peckham in the Diocese of Southwark in the Church of England.
