Low Sunday 2026: guest rooms after Easter

Low Sunday 2026 arrived with the usual mix of leftover lilies, borrowed chairs, and a guest mattress still folded in the clergy-house landing. The octave is over, yet the rooms keep the memory of visitors who slept here between services.

We treat those spaces as part of hospitality, not as leftover storage. Sheets go through a proper wash, the small kitchen is cleared of festival crumbs, and the prayer room is set back to a single candle and an empty chair.

When a room has been let for a short stay, or when someone leaves after a season in the house, the same care applies. A thorough end-of-stay clean in SE15 is part of how we hand a space on, so the next person finds stillness rather than last week's clutter.

If you joined us through Holy Week, thank you. Midweek prayer returns on the usual Chandler Way pattern, and the Tuesday table is open again once the rooms are ready.
